Krypton - a new salad?

As many of you know, Cameron loves Superman and regularly dresses up in his Superman costume, racing about the house rescuing anyone who looks like they might need help.

This morning Cameron said, "mummy, Superman comes from the planet crouton." So I said, "I think you mean Krypton, Cameron. He's from the planet called Krypton." Cameron said, "No. It's crouton mummy." Oh well.

Ball boys

Cameron and Jamie both got a treat yesterday - balls! The balls are rather big but the boys had great fun bouncing them all over the house and off each other's heads.

Finding Nemo - On Ice

Cameron had a special treat this holiday weekend. We went to see Finding Nemo - on Ice with his friend Ollie and Ollie's mum and grandma. We had a fantastic time. Cameron sat on the edge of his seat in complete awe for the whole show. The costumes were great and Cameron loved the indoor fireworks, the seagull flying in the sky and of course Nemo himself. We had dinner after the show and once he was finished Cameron asked, "Can we go back to Nemo now mummy?" So I guess the show was a hit!

Bouncing boys

Today is Presidents Day and Grant had the day off work. This morning we went to Sport Bounce in Ashburn. It is a big warehouse place with lots of bouncy castles and slides. Both boys ran around and bounced like crazy with hundreds of other kids. It was a fun morning and they were exhausted at the end. Grant and I had a slide too :-)

After our active morning we headed to Starbucks for coffee (Grant and Miranda) and chocolate milk (Cameron and Jamie). As many of you know, cinnamon scones were also on the menu.

On Sunday it was Miranda's birthday. We celebrated with cake and pizza. Cameron insisted on wearing party hats too - who has a party without hats?

Little Swimmers

Every Sunday morning Cameron and Jamie have swimming lessons. Here is Jamie in the class with Grant. He loves splashing in the water and isn't afraid to get his face wet. Cameron was wearing armbands and using a float/kickboard in class today. It was great to see him splashing on his own, diving for rings and almost swimming.
